All over the world. Inquire about products that you do not see listed. We can source anything.

Are your live lobsters fresh?

Well yes, they are alive.

Do you catch the fish that you sell?

No, but we do enjoy fishing. We leave the commercial fishing to the pros.

Does frozen seafood taste as good as fresh seafood?

Yes, some items are better flash frozen.

What is the difference between sustainable and ocean-wise?

Sustainable seafood is seafood that is either caught or farmed in ways that consider the long-term vitality of harvested species and the well-being of the oceans, as well as the livelihoods of fisheries-dependent communities. It was first promoted through the sustainable seafood movement which began in the 1990s.

Ocean Wise is a Vancouver Aquarium conservation program created to educate and empower consumers about the issues surrounding sustainable seafood. Know that just because something is sustainable does not mean it meets the more stringent requirements of the Ocean Wise guidelines.

Are there any advantages to seafood from the Pacific vs. the Atlantic. Or vice versa?

Some species have been better regulated on one coast or the other and therefore end up being better for the earth long-term. The flavours from different species from different bodies of water bring their own unique flavours and taste.

Do you only sell commercially? Or can I come in and buy fish as a consumer?

Anyone can get the same quality product from our warehouse.
